My family lived on Yale Ave. just off Wentworth. Not far from Weazers Pub and right across from Bozo's and Carmen (Felice?) market...great Italian sausage! My mother's name was Corrado, and the entire family lived close by. I went to St. Anthony school in the early '60s, still recall the names of some of my classmates. Remember Pat & Matts, Spigalone's (sp?) The Penguin. My uncle also worked at Torino Bakery right down the street. It was a great place, almost impossible to describe. I can almost see my Grandparent's home when riding on the South Shore train.

Would love to see this organized by school/parish graduation year or neighborhood.

Thanks for all of your hard work!

Very interesting trip down memory lane. We both lived on Vernon Avenue from the 40's through to 1960 (106th and 110th). Ellen went to Pullman and I went to Poe before goinng to Fenger. We have corresponded with some but would be happy to hear from any others who lived in that area, at that time. It was a great and some what idyllic place to grow up. I used to work at the Adelman Furniture Store @ 110th and Michigan. I would love to reach an old college chum by the name of Bob Schill who was in the Fenger June 1957 Class.
Regards,
Curt
