Tom,
I grew up in Calumet Park in the 50's, and 118th & Peoria near Ingersoll Rand. Used to listen to the drop hammers all night. Worked at ACME then Interlake steel melt shop in the mid 60's. I think your number 24 picture out of the 115 of Roseland 113rd & Front was the old Ken and Dick's tavern and pizza. Best pizza anywhere back then.

Tom,
Great job keeping Roseland alive.
My lawyer will be contacting you re the unauthorized link to placerdale.com (just kidding!) thanks for the plug.
Sorry to say I haven't been able to keep the site updated since I've moved to the boondocks.

Tom and Alice, I'm sorry we lost touch. I am now beginning to do some family history. Was in Moscow for one year and a cousin from Belarus came to visit. Seems like we should keep in touch as our relatives came to USA together.

Good afternoon Tom and Alice. My name is Marie Nelson Walters. My first husband was David Nelson and his father had a service station on 107 South Park (later became Martin Luther King Drive).
I was led to your website by a person name -- Marge Hornig who also was a Roseland person. You have a great website. Very interesting.

Tom:
Hope you and Alice are doing well. It sure has been a long time since we were all growing up in Fernwood.
Best regards,
Tom & Dorothy
